The Schomp Automotive Group, one of Colorado’s oldest and largest independently owned automotive businesses has been operating in Metro Denver for more than 75 years. My experience with them started in 2013, I was hired for a Marketing Coordinator 3 month internship. I was hired on to the team full time after the internship. My responsibilities included developing marketing deliverables that elevated brand awareness, focusing on the dealership, community partnerships as well as BMW, MINI and Honda. Schomp Automotive is well respected in the community, and has always fostered lasting partnerships year after year. They nurture relationships with many great organizations, such as Children’s Hospital, the Love Hope Strength Foundation, and the Littleton Public Schools Foundation. I heartily maintained relationships with existing accounts through promotions and yearly events. I would collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure success with marketing campaigns and events.

Managing these campaigns and events was the focus of my position. I worked closely with management to organize and develop plans adhering to set budgets, create all marketing assets and follow through managing the event. Along with our talented team, we were able to produce some of the biggest activations in Denver and the surrounding areas. I am a jack-of-all-trades in my profession and have always strived to learn. Print production has always been an interest of mine, so I trained with the print department and produced vinyl decals, event banners and showroom posters. I managed inventory of products, maintained regulator maintenance on the machines and trained new hires on process. Click here to view vinyl wrapped event vehicles that I was responsible for.
Along with graphic design, event coordination and print production, I learned basic management skills while working with Schomp Automotive. I developed time management skills, and worked in a very fast-paced environment. The team atmosphere was the key takeaway from my time with the company, and am very much in support of their successes.
I’ve relied on Desiree to handle various tasks in the past and am very comfortable with her level of efficiency and quality of work. Not only is she a reliable and talented member of the team, but she’s also personable and professional in her demeanor.
